November is Celebrate Cedar Mesa Month!

Friends of Cedar Mesa is proud to host their 3rd annual event, “Celebrate Cedar Mesa,”  on Saturday, November 2.  This popular event celebrates the diversity of cultures in Cedar Mesa and highlights the incredible natural and cultural resources in the region.

Last year more than 250 people attended the event in Blanding.  This year, the event is at the Bluff Community Center with the theme, “Beyond the Archeological Story.”

The program will include a showing of the film “NEMO” about legendary figure Everett Ruess, and include storytelling and a chili dinner.  Registration is free, and you can read more about the program.

Finally, if you’re not a member yet, please consider a personally significant donation to the Friends to support their outstanding stewardship and advocacy work.  You can donate securely online and make sure “Celebrate Cedar Mesa” continues into the future! (photo courtesy Bob Wick)
