New Faces In the Network
Citizens for Dixie’s Future (CDF) is a grassroots coalition of local citizens committed to protecting the natural resources and quality of life in Washington County, Utah for the benefit of present and future generations. The group is based in St. George and stewards a bunch of outstanding National Conservation Lands, including 130,000 acres of BLM wilderness, 19 miles of wild and scenic rivers, and Beaver Dam Wash and Red Cliffs National Conservation Area.
Recently they welcomed a new Executive Director, LeAnn Skrzynski, an experienced volunteer and public lands leader in southern Utah.
We’re excited for the great work being done by this group and we wish former Executive Director Christi Wedig great success in her new posting at Glen Canyon Institute.
For LeAnn’s new friends in the Friends Grassroots Network who will see her at the Rendezvous in Bend, a nice icebreaker question for her might be: Why the nickname “Bambi?”
