About Friends of Sloan Canyon

The vision of Friends of Sloan Canyon is to preserve and conserve Sloan Canyon National Conservation area while providing access and enjoyment for the public.  Over the past decade our activities have focused mainly on advocacy & education: lobbying efforts for land restoration, trail creation and greater public access, and community education programs on the importance of preserving forever homes for our native animals, insects, and birds.
