Calling all Runners: Lace Up Your Running Shoes

Turn your run into an opportunity to protect our National Conservation Lands! We’re partnering with runners around the country to help make sure we protect some of our most treasured public lands.

Join The Conservation Lands Foundation’s Team for the Colfax Marathon in Denver On May 19, 2013! Don’t want to run the full 26.2 miles? No worries, there are shorter distances that still have the same impact. Click here to read about all the races.

In Colorado we’re ensuring local communities have a voice in the management of natural treasures like Dominguez-Escalante and  McInnis Canyons National Conservation Areas.  We’re working with veterans and youth to improve wildlife habitat and restore river corridors in places like Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area.

We’re fighting to permanently protect places like Browns Canyon and the Dolores River so future generations can enjoy our outdoor heritage. Join us in helping to protect some of the most spectacular natural, cultural and historic lands in Colorado, and in the entire country.

It’s easy to join:

  1. First register for your race on the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon’s Website. During the registration process you will be asked if you will be running for a Charity, select Conservation Lands Foundation.
  2. Join the Conservation Lands Foundation’s Team and create your personal fundraising page. Click on the “Team” tab and then “Join the team”.
  3. You are all set! Now it’s time to train and raise money for our team!
