2013 Friends Award Winners Announced
In a festive and rollicking awards ceremony on Saturday night, we announced our 2013 award winners.
We started an annual awards program back in 2011 to recognize the excellent work being done by our partners across programmatic disciplines. We’re happy to report that each year, competition for the awards has increased to the point where there are no easy winners. This burgeoning “depth” in the quality and diversity of work done by groups in the Friends Grassroots Network has been instrumental in every policy success, communications milestone and campaign victory our community has won in recent years.
We’ll blog in greater detail in the coming days about these fabulous winners, but for now, congratulations to…
- Beth Kampschror, Executive Director of the Friends of Missouri Breaks, for FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR
- Ann Cole, Executive Director of the Mendocino Land Trust, for ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR
- Friends of Black Rock-HighRock, for FRIENDS GROUP of the YEAR; and to the…
- Utah Dine Bikeyah for the CONSERVATION LEADERSHIP AWARD.
